Our DJ, Joe Bongiorno was A+ FABULOUS!! He was so great to work with and really made the reception run smoothly. He really focuses on the bride and groom and does not try to be the center of attention. He did the sound for our outdoor ceremony too and the levels were great, with all the guests able to hear everything. He did just what we asked and I am SO glad we chose him. He’s very professional, accommodating, responsive and personable.

Joe played piano music for our ceremony and was the D.J. for the reception. The piano music he played while guests were being seated sounded beautiful along with all of the processional and recessional songs. Joe is super professional and not at all cheesy like some other D.J.'s are. He came highly recommended from many other Seattle Knotties and my wedding coordinator told me that he is one of only a few D.J.'s she will actually recommend to brides! He is completely accommodating to any requests you may have and has a huge song list for you to choose from! For things like the bouquet and garter toss and the cake cutting, I did not have anything specific picked out, but I trusted his judgement to choose appropriate songs and he did!

I know we all fear getting a "cheesy" DJ. Joe was so not cheesy, in fact he was super cool! He was the only DJ we arranged to meet with (I was very anxious about our DJ search!) and we booked him on the spot. Two weeks before the wedding when I was reaching my "fed up" point in the wedding planning, our detail meeting with him got me PUMPED for the wedding again! He knew the style of music we were aiming for and was totally open to playing music for my parents' guests to dance to. He even kept his cool when my demanding mother came up to him with 5 songs to play IN A ROW, and yet he still checked with us about it since WE were the ones paying him! PLUS, He happens to be a great pianist, so if you need him to play for your ceremony or dinner he can do that too! He was a great MC and we are happy to give him a huge thumbs up!
